Short and Sweet.

So remiss that I have not been out with my good camera, you will have to suffice with these!

We have had some very pretty sunrises and sunsets with the changing weather at the moment!

Kaka doing some drawing of myself and Justin (just in case that wasn't obvious).

Our little fluff balls are growing and it will be a bit sad to depart with all but one. You get a bit attached to the little mites! Although they did destroy my grapevine, so they are in the bad books at the moment!

With our holidays long since disappeared, I was feeling guilty about not having had a playdate with our lovely little neighbour Shaylee. Gosh she's a cute little thing. Pidgeon pair really.... Shaylee came packed with her own noodles and popcorn lol. Just like when I take Kaka pretty much anywhere and she always packs her own snack bag!

School Time!

Someone had a birthday! I kinda had to explain it to him... the joke part but when I did he thought it was pretty funny! Poop even had some worms in it.

Starting to get a few trees in my orchid. Mulberry, Native Lime, Tahitian Lime, Lemon, Two Apples (if they survive) and an Olive tree.

Found our own personal little waterfall (when it rains). Justin thinks I'm being extravagant cause I want to dig it out and put a solar pump in. How cool would that be?

Eyes off the poop cake.

Got a last minute spot at a Karen Howard clinic and decided to take both my brumbies. Anyhow, usually Max is the one who deals it to Dartanian, but not this time. Poor bugger! A couple off weeks off his training was really not what he needed.

Karen does such a great job at her clinics, she has a real knack for picking up on exactly what you need to work on and showing you what you need to do to get things right.

I think Dartanian was a bit tired and probably wishing he hadn't injured Max by the end of the weekend.

Poddies are getting bigger! I'm still so grateful for my dairy cows!

Trying to workout with these little munchkins is a bit difficult some days.

Little Bessie had little colt!! Isn't he so damn cute!  She was the one that I was soooo looking forward to, I'm not that worried about the other 3, but I do hope for Justin's sake that Snort (behind) has one, as she is the sister to his mare that he lost last year.

So, Justin looked up at the crow nest we had been monitoring and after seeing one crow dead on the ground, seeing this little fella stuck out on a limb, we didn't think he had much hope. So with the ladder precariously strapped to the loader bucket (should have taken a photo), Justin hoisted me up into the tree, where I managed to use a hook to pull the branches out of the way and collect him in a bucket. He was doing so well for about a week and then sadly died. I was a bit sad about losing him, I really liked the idea of having a pet crow!

Cute when they sleep!

Valentine came and went with little thoroughfare. J thinks I'm a bit weird giving the kids something, but I don't care!

Playing in our waterfall with Indie.

Chub, Cheif and Indie. (Feel like I need to name the dogs cause we always look at old photos and go "who's that?"

Saturday morning we still had just enough light scattering of rain for me to warrant making piklets. Although I think I was the only one who ate them. We had over 70mm this week, so the place is looking amazing.

Sunrise can be pretty spectacular can't it.

Aaaaalll da puppies!!!! Except for Ty who's waaaay over there beside the esky!

I've been making some kombucha again and I had ran out of plastic bottles, so I used a glass one that was meant for fermenting aaaaand poor Justin found the mess! Oops!

The best thing about teaching your kids to email you! Ignore the times, I don't know why their school computers send them at weird times.

I saw this one and thought it was funny.

Can't save them all I guess. To be honest, I'm feeling a bit cursed. I feel as though we've had so much death, horse, foal, poddy, cat, chook, puppy, dog and now this crow! I need to burn a whole sage bush I think.

Least we still have the puppies!

I've been trying to perfect my sourdough to get it to a stage where my children might be inspired to eat it.... I think I might actually be there. This one is pretty damn good!

And that's it. Short and Sweet.
I must get out with my camera again. I have an annual photo comp coming up and I am really struggling for images to enter, and despite the fact that I am surrounded by nature, it is always my worst genre. I think perhaps that's because I take some of the opportunities to take photos for granted. The swamp is an absolute mass of lillies at the moment and I'm feeling very neglectful that I've not been down to take photos before they disappear! I have been unwell all week though, so I do have a bit of an excuse.

Anyhow my dear people.
Hope you are all fairing well and that your grass is green and long.
With Love.
