Birds and Beach Take Two.

I've been feeling a bit inspired lately to take some bird photos. So bare with me, but these guys were so damn cute.

This particular little dude was like, "is this my best side".

and this little cutie was only about 2 ft in front of me in a bush!

Waiting for birds to come.... I found it easier to sit still and let the birds come to me rather than try and chase them.

Love this one.

I like to refer to these as "wholey shit horse..... yes I'm hanging on now"

I though this was funny, the girl trying to look cool in front of the boy.... FAIL!

This weekend just gone, my gorgeous cousin Jess, came to visit me with her other half D Nash and their son Louie. They arrived on the Friday and then Saturday we all packed up and went camping at Couti Outi at the beach.

Kids had a ball and were very exhausted by the end of the day.

We were even lucky enough that the tide was big enough to let us see some sea turtles.

Such a gorgeous spot and we are so very blessed to have great friends and neighbours that allow us to come camping here.

5 of my favourite people.

Non-stop playing action.

(She's a card)

Feel like I've lost my knack with astro photography. I need some inspiration.

Was messing around with some of my editing and stumbled across this... I actually really love it.

G man decided that he didn't want to sleep in, so I ventured out into the cold to get a couple of early morning shots.

So after a night at the beach we all packed up camp and ventured home, via the main house for a cuppa. That afternoon everyone left..... *insert sad face*. Was much too short of a visit, need to make plans for a longer one!

From my phone:

I took these the following day, after the rain I mentioned in my last post. I just love these trees.

We made some terrariums.

Grandma remembered that you can take the cowgirl out of the country, but you can't take the country out of the cowgirl!!

Just a girl and her horse

Couple of weeks ago we had "damper" by the creek..... however, it was more of a deconstructed damper because mum forgot the baking paper. Still tasted alright but!

How else do you spend a Sunday but having sausages on the campfire.

My garden is very sad at the moment and as we plan to leave in the next year or so I'm not that inspired to improve upon it. So I've had to get creative with my photos.

So my good friend Erin, who is amazing at macaroons, has told me that I need to give it at least 5 attempts. So this is number 2 of 5. I'm improving, but still have a long way to go!

My little princess.

G man went to town with dad the other day and apparently, he has been wanting to buy me a present for a couple of weeks now. He first picked something for $150, so dad told him to try again. This is what he ended up with, because "mum likes candles"!! He's 4!!!!! What a gorgeous kid!! So much love!

I've said before that I've joined a photography club. Anyhow, one of the really excellent landscape photographers has been helping me with some of my editing. The above is his edit (which is amazing) and below is mine.

Made such a huge difference. I'm still learning so much!

This was our little crew heading to Couti-Outi. Kaka, G man and Louie.

Here's the link to a Video Mash Up of what the kids and I have been up to lately. Kaka, not too fussed on some of my music, grooving to other music and mum and I having a go at some interesting cake decorating.

Anyhow trendsetters, I must be off to bed. How are we all? The weather is cooling off isn't it!
Planning any trips? I guess we are all stuck in Australia for a while now, so I guess it would be great to plan some local trips, we have such a gorgeous country. I know that my kids are made keen on camping now.

Stay safe everyone. x
