Way Back

Not a huge post from be this time. Seems I've been a bit busy/ tired/ uninspired lately to get out and about with my camera. Plus I'm hoping that if I do a post today, that it will bring me some good juju for some lightening shots this afternoon. There was some massive lightening on Monday morning at 2am, and I should have just got up and out of bed, but I was a bit slack.

This weekend just gone, we went to visit our friends Greer and Mango, as their kids Thomas and Brooklyn are 6 and 4 only days apart, so they always have a bit of a gathering. On the way we stopped over at Justin's parents place.

Couldn't have kept the kids out of the dam if we tried! Good thing I hadn't showered them before we left home, but it was so damn hot, I didn't bother until later.

Intelligent looking dog.

Maybe not so much.

I didn't even get any photos of the birthday gathering, but the following morning we suffered the stifling heat and the kids did a spot of fishing. Garrett and Kaka both caught a black brim which was pretty cool.

Cobes caught this massive cat fish!!!

Auntie Mel

Be free fishy!

So  yeeeh that's about it from my good camera!! Bit slack. I would like to say that I've been busy since my last post, but I'm not really sure what doing. Teaching school... that's about my soul existence at the moment. Justin hasn't had a day off in ages... so I'm hoping that this weekend we can have a bit of a chill together. Maybe get the kids back on their ponies again!

My mum's uncle, sent her some old gold! I scanned them onto here. How great are old photos!!!

I absolutely love this photo!!

How bloody trendy was my Granny!!!!

My mum... she hasn't changed one little bit!!!

Grandad (Donald) I love this shot the best!

I just love old photos like that. I wonder what it will be like looking back on this blog when I'm old! I hope that it doesn't get lost into cyber space or to some cyber war (that's a bit scary to think about).

My gorgeous cousin Jess with Evie.

I caught a bat inside the house... should have heard me squeal when it jumped out from behind the washing machine and onto my foot while I was brushing my teeth.

Missy "helping" me bake.

Going to sleep on the way to Nanna's place with her $5 in her hand!

Oh and we have these little gremlins that have decided that they want to live up at the house... and the fact that we have been feeding them food scraps... probably isn't encouraging them to leave any time soon!!

And that's it from me! Short and sweet!
I just finished reading Breath.... wow it's mind blowing stuff and well worth a listen, although, you would think it would be easy to implement, as we do it constantly... but I haven't actually sat down to do it... and they said I shouldn't do it in the car, in case I pass out.... so that's on my to do list.

Oh, I just realised why I have been a bit busy, I had my photo auction.... it was a huge success and I was so grateful for all those people who purchased prints and I hope they love them. Was such an exciting thing to do and while I was a bit nervous, putting my prints out there, they did really well. I'm already planning my next one.

Hope you're all keeping cool in this heat wave and I hope you're all safe from these horrific floods. My heart goes out to all of those people who've been affected.
