Beautiful Devastation


This is salt. 



Surprisingly there is not a lot of editing that has gone into these photos, despite how they may appear. 





Why it's so devastating is because this salt is now an inch deep in places, where a beautiful swamp used to be. 














I always enjoy taking photos and processing them, but sometimes there's a bit of bitter sweetness when you're taking photos of something that is so awful.

So you may well understand why it was such devastating event for us and there wasn't a lot we could do. The tide broke the banks!! In places that we've never seen before. It was the biggest tide I've even seen here. 




So to quell some of the depression that comes with our salt invasion, we got some pics of this years weaners and once again I'm so happy with them and so proud of my husband for the work that he puts into making them so quiet and in such forward condition.
