A few years ago, I ran a raffle on my facebook page and the winner was to receive a photoshoot by me..... aaaand then life happened and because it was won by my dear friend, we never got around to it until now! Was so nice to be able to get some family shots for them.
I'm doing a photo tour soon, to take family photos for a number of my friends. Partly because people are terrible at getting photos done and partly because I feel like I need some more experience and still have a lot to learn. Plus it will be fun and while I'm still in my post op 3mth period, it gives me something to do where I feel useful and productive. So I can't wait for next week when I head off. Sheree couldn't make the date I had her scheduled in for so luckily we could do it a weekend early,
These were a handful of my favourites.
And of course, I had to get some photos of our new baby.

From my phone
I'm finally mastered my sourdough.
Betty making herself quite comfortable on my bed.
Couple of snaps from the school room.
Missy's gratefulness journal, which is a bit cute.
Some new fence-line. I'm so excited to get it all done. Justin should just about have it all finished by the end of this week.
How beautiful is this tree.
Cactus thinks it's going to rain.
Lamb shank for the puppy.
The last mini-school for the year and the kids got to have a colour run. Thank you to those that donated for the kids fundraiser.
Thank you to Tania Raine who took these beautiful photos for us.
Love this with Garrett and his mate Ben in the background.
My dear friend Hayley Ahern's son is leaving school to do an apprenticeship, which is a bit special. So we had a dinner to celebrate.
Myself, Hayley and Kaka
Hayley has had a couple of our mares and we are excited to say they are both in foal to her stallion "Sunny's Duplicate" which is a bit cool. Fingers crossed that they both stick.
And miss got her ears pierced. I think it was more me wanting her to do it than her, but she was glad she got them done.
Have had a few wild storms and this one blew my pot over, so I transplanted the peace lilies inside into a water vase.
Still a bit of moisture in the air in the mornings. No more rain to follow as yet though.
We had our pony club break up, with each kid getting a bridle bag made by one of our club members, which was a bit special.
More tea catch ups with the mum's from school.
Facetime with dad while we are away. He's looking a bit wild.
She's got the zen pose downpat.
Had to check a few fences, after the storms to make sure there wasn't a tree over. Luckily there wasn't much to be done this time.
My worm farm finally arrived. I'm so excited.
Look at the sweat marks on his shirt. I feel so sorry for the out in the heat pushing to get the fence finished on time.
Miss doing her own makeup.
Bought myself a new laptop which I am super excited about and this is my photo-editing buddy. She's not a great deal of help I must say.
And that's a wrap. We are currently in town for awards and swimming carnival. And then only two more days left of school until we tap out for the year. Can't wait.
Currently reading "The House in the Cerulean Sea". Not sure of my opinion of it just yet. And my latest song is "Drinkabye" by Cole Swindell.
Hope you are all getting under a few storms.
With Love
